Hand-painted ketubot, designed together with the couple.
A garden with a heraldic profile
About the work
The shaped silhouette, with its upper recess and pointed base, gives this ketubah an almost heraldic presence. Two mirrored branches accompany the text in a weave of green leaves, pink flowers and slender brown scrolls, lit by golden details. On the outside, lighter boughs alternate with inscriptions, following the movement of the contour. The composition finds its balance in the contrast between the density of the writing and the generous breath of the pale background, especially at the top. The result is a vertical garden of soft, continuous rhythm, where the ornament seems to grow together with the page, gathering at last in the lower point.
